Safety & Police

The University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg Police provide protection services to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests of the University. Duties of the Campus Police include protection of the campus community, enforcement of federal, state, and local laws, and enforcement of parking rules and regulations.

The police department is committed to keeping students, faculty, staff, and the entire Pitt-Greensburg community safe. Conveniently located in the Police and Safety Center, which is connected to Smith Hall, the department is staffed full-time, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Crime Alerts

A record of crimes reported to the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg Police Department during the last 60 days may be viewed by visiting the Police and Safety Center – Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and requesting to view the Crime Log.
