- Pitt-Greensburg Scholarships
- SLICE Scholarship Program
- Pitt-Greensburg was awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to increase the retention and graduation rates of students in Biology or Chemistry. Through the SLICE program, scholarships of up to $10,000 per year for a period of up to four years were available to eligible academically talented students from high schools serving Fayette and Washington Counties and rural areas of Westmoreland County in Pennsylvania.

Your Biochemistry degree can lead to opportunities for graduate study in disciplines such as medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, and related sciences, as well as professional programs in the health-related professions – particularly in the medical, pharmaceutical, and dental fields. Many of these fields leverage your knowledge of biochemistry, and with a degree in biochemistry from Pitt-Greensburg you will be well-suited as an applicant to find success in future studies.

Beta Beta Beta’s Theta Pi Chapter is Pitt-Greensburg’s on-campus Biology Honor Society. Members help to guide club activities, and opportunities to present research at local conferences can help students establish themselves in the community for future job opportunities and networking. Gamma Sigma Epsilon's Rho Theta Chapter is Pitt-Greensburg’s on-campus Chemistry Honor Society. Members help to guide club activities, and opportunities to present research at local conferences can help students establish themselves in the community for future job opportunities and networking. Environmental Club encourages students to explore various environmental topics. Students of any major are welcome to become members. If you are interested in Environmental Club, please contact Dr. Tim Savisky.
Science Club encourages students to explore the various areas of the natural sciences. The club usually travels each year to a different city to visit museums, tourist attractions, and cultural locations that are of scientific interest. Past destinations include New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Virginia Beach. Students of any major are welcome to become members. Research Opportunities
