Dr. William C. Pamerleau received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Purdue University. He teaches courses in ethics, the history of philosophy, existentialism, and aesthetics. He is the author of Existentialist Cinema, and he has published a variety of articles on various topics. His most recent efforts focus on existentialism and the philosophy of film. In 2015, Dr. Pamerleau received the Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching award.
