Professor Douglas Harding is currently a Visiting Instructor in Management at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg campus, teaching undergraduate business courses such as Introduction to Marketing, Management Process, Entrepreneurship, International Business and Strategic Management.
Prof Harding has also taught several business courses at the Oakland Campus as an Adjunct Instructor in Business, Management and Economics. Prof. Harding has also taught International Business at Waynesburg University’s Professional MBA Program, at Duquesne University A. J. Palumbo School of Business Administration and at Chatham University as well as Strategic Management and Public Affairs Management at Duquesne University’s Palumbo-Donahue School of Business. Prof. Harding also led the first study abroad program to Buenos Aires, Argentina under the University of Pittsburgh’s Global Business Institute program in Oakland’s College of Business Administration.
In addition, Prof. Harding has also been serving as a Business Consultant for the state-sponsored Small Business Development Center, having led many SBA- funded training programs and startup workshops for emerging entrepreneurs.
Prof. Harding also brings extensive professional experience in global business management, having led international sales management activities for various multinational industrial manufacturing companies, including a new business venture within PPG Industries.
Originally from Venezuela, Prof. Harding is fluent in Spanish, and holds an MBA from Syracuse University and an MA in Economics from Georgia State University.
