Courtney is an accomplished Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager with over 18 years of expertise in grant writing, program planning, and philanthropic engagement within the nonprofit and higher education sectors. As Manager of Foundation and Corporate Relations, she has been instrumental in securing over 235 grants totaling $11 million since 2011, funding key institutional priorities.
Previously, Courtney served as a Planner/Grants Writer for the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc., where she secured competitive federal grants, including $1 million from the Department of Health and Human Services and $2.7 million from the Department of Labor.
With a BA in Art Education and teaching experience across all age groups, Courtney also brings a background in curriculum development, computer software quality assurance, and technical writing. She combines strategic insight, persuasive communication, and a deep understanding of philanthropy to secure vital funding and build lasting partnerships.
