Orientation

On behalf of the Student Life and Success staff, we are excited that you will be joining our dynamic student body!  A variety of programs and events are in place to help you become acquainted with Pitt-Greensburg and prepare you for your first year of college.

Take advantage of these opportunities to meet other students, faculty, and staff. We look forward to seeing you!

Summer Orientation

This is a mandatory program for full-time first-year students at Pitt-Greensburg. Learn about the various campus resources, programs and activities, financial aid, housing, and commuter life, as well as other fundamentals you need to be successful.

It is also an opportunity for you to meet and connect with faculty, staff, and other students, and to have some fun!

Welcome Week

Your first week on campus will be full of activities!

Opportunities include picking up your student ID, taking a tour of campus, fun evening activities in the evenings, First-Year Convocation, educational sessions, and enjoying a BBQ and fireworks during The Big Bang.

Convocation

First-Year Student Convocation is a formal welcome into the University community held during Welcome Week. First-Year Convocation is usually held in the late afternoon after all first-year students have checked-in.  Watch your email for more details!

First-Year Experience and Cornerstone Courses

These programs are designed to help new Pitt-Greensburg students make a successful academic and social transition from high school to college.
