How to Get Technical Assistance

(If you need immediate help outside Cassell Hall hours, contact the University's help desk at 412-624-4357.)

Software

Microsoft Office 365

  • Visit portal.office.com and sign in with your Pitt email address and password.
  • Click on Install Apps in the upper right corner to install Microsoft 365.
  • This gives you access to Word, Powerpoint, Excel, OneDrive, and more.

Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Visit accounts.pitt.edu and log in.
  • Click the Adobe tab.
  • Read the agreement, then click the Get Adobe Creative Cloud License.
  • Wait for about one hour for your account to be activated.
  • When your license becomes active, you can visit the Adobe Creative Cloud website to install Creative Cloud.

Other Software

  • Visit software.pitt.edu and log in.

Wireless

Residence Hall Wireless

Wireless-Pittnet

  • Students will want to connect to Wireless-Pittnet with their username and password when they are in non-residence hall buildings such as Powers Hall or Chambers Hall.

Printing

Visit print.pitt.edu to upload your document(s). After uploading, you can visit a print station at any of the following locations:

  • Cassell Hall 210
  • Cassell Hall Downstairs Hallway
  • Chambers Hall Front Desk
  • College Hall
  • Life Sciences Building 2nd Floor Hallway
  • Millstein Library
  • Robertshaw Hall
  • Smith Hall Lounge
  • University Court
  • Village Hall
  • Westmoreland Hall
