The Power of One Dream
The Pitt-Greensburg Early Childhood Education Program will prepare our candidates to become certified in Early Childhood Education who are eligible to teach in Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade.
Teachers make a difference in everyone's lives. You can be that inspiration and touch future lives.
We believe that real experience in the classroom prior to student teaching prepares you to be an effective teacher. Enter into the classroom the second semester of your freshman year where you will practice your skills to touch the lives of Pre K - Grade 4 students of all learning levels.
As part of our award-winning SPSEA education club, you will benefit from professional development, activities with Pre K - Grade 12 students, and valuable networking opportunities.
Examine educational practices in a variety of school districts - or take your impact as an educator even further by student teaching in New Zealand or Bolivia. Plus freshmen can complete a two-week "Plus3" program earning university credits in Birmingham, England! As an educator, you have the power to change the world, one student at a time.
