What is it?
Five campuses, one University. The Option Program is the University of Pittsburgh’s response to the increasing number of highly qualified students who seek admission. As Pitt’s reputation continues to grow, so does the volume of applications. Unfortunately, there are a limited number of spaces at the Pittsburgh campus, and accommodating all students who apply is not possible. However, for students whose academic profile suggests they could benefit from the University’s educational philosophy, strengths and reputation, the Admissions Committee may offer admission to one of our four regional campuses. The University’s same philosophy and reputation are also available at the Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown, and Titusville campuses.
If you received a letter regarding the Options Program we welcome you to explore Pitt-Greensburg and discover how Pitt-Greensburg can be the perfect fit for you.
