Jeannette Head Start Christmas PartySince 1998, the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg has hosted a Christmas Party for the children attending the Jeannette Head Start program.

LaNighta Sales helps to colorThis year, approximately 40 children arrived on campus at 11 a.m. to color some pictures, have lunch, and visit with Santa Claus.

The event was organized by the Pitt-Greensburg Housing and Residence Life Staff. Members of the campus community were invited to purchase one clothing gift and one toy gift from Santa Claus listens to Christmas wisheseach child’s wish list. Members of the Outdoors Adventure and Community Service (OACS) club wrapped the gifts and provided additional help at the event. Lunch was provided courtesy of Chartwells Dining Services.
