​Pitt-Greensburg to host Graduate and Professional School Fair

Pitt School of Social Work representative talking to studentThe University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg will host its 16th annual Graduate and Professional School Fair Thursday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Chambers Hall Gymnasium. This event is free and open to the public. All majors and academic levels are welcome, and no pre-registration is required.

More than 40 graduate and professional school representatives will be in attendance. This includes 10 University of Pittsburgh graduate school programs, plus tables offering pre-health advising and relocation information for students interested in transferring to the University of Pittsburgh campus in Pittsburgh. “The Graduate and Professional School Fair offers attendees a great opportunity to compare their options,” said Katie Byers, assistant director of Career Services for Pitt-Greensburg. “It’s a convenient way for anyone who is interested in pursuing graduate or professional school to learn about program requirements, prerequisites, application procedures, and deadlines.”

Attendees can meet with representatives from regional schools presenting a wide variety of fields of study, including law, business, information science, health-related programs (such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and physician assistant), teaching certification, and various areas in the liberal arts.
