Pitt-Greensburg to host free FAFSA Workshop

The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and PHEAA will host a free FAFSA Completion Workshop on March 27 in McKenna Room 136. Workshops will run every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m. Registration is required and may be completed at www.greensburg.pitt.edu/fafsa.

Financial Aid professionals will be available to assist families in completing and electronically submitting the FAFSA. The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid that is used to determine eligibility for Federal and State financial aid.

It is strongly recommended that both the student and parent(s) have electronically filed their 2011 Federal Tax Returns two weeks prior to attending one of these FAFSA Workshops. Otherwise, both the student and parent(s) should bring a completed 2011 Federal Tax Return and W-2 or other income and benefit information with them to the Workshop. Call the Pitt-Greensburg Financial Aid Office at 724-836-9881 with questions.
