Bio

Franklin Wilson, PhD, is the director of the Behavioral Sciences Academic Village at Pitt-Greensburg.  Courses he regularly teaches include:  Introduction to Sociology, Social Theory, Youth and Society, Drugs and Society, and the Sociology of Deviance and Social Control. Dr. Wilson's research has largely been focused in the areas of the sociology of organizations, social movements, and historical sociology. From 2001-2006 he worked with sociologists from Germany, Spain, and Sweden on an international study about the role of money in couple relationships which resulted in the 2007 publication of a book, Modern Couples Sharing Money, Sharing Life, published by Palgrave Macmillan.
